M & M

M & M is a ministry for the junior and senior high school girls of Reach Student Ministries.

We meet every Thursday evening from 7-9pm either in the Cafe or at various homes. The vision of M & M is based on Mary and Martha's lives, to love the Lord and study His Word and to learn and practice practical life skills that will equip our girls in various aspects of ministry, managing a home and their lives as they grow and move on their own.

Life skills are taught the 1st and 4th Thursdays of each month and are lead by different members of the congregation. This past year we've learned:

	water bath canning
	making applesauce
	baking bread
	processing pumpkins
	making pies
	rubber stamping
	scripture memory

	crocheting
	stocking a pantry
	comparison shopping/price book
	basic cooking techniques
	making ice cream
	basic child training

	first aid
	general medical questions
	cake decorating
	frugal gift making
	basic auto maintenance
	spring cleaning
	basic infant care

This past year we've been studying through Proverbs and learning how to apply it to our own lives.
